This past week we worked on reviewing for our Module 1 IC3 test. This test will be for your own personal certification. Also, a passing grade of 710 out of a 1000 will earn you a 100 percent test grade. Any lower grades will equal to your percentage correct.
On Thursday, we took the Module 1 Test. 11 out of 27 students passed and earned their certification. Students will be taking a Module 2 and 3 certification exam in the upcoming weeks before school lets out.
That's enough school discussion for now. Hope you guys have a safe, happy, and relaxing spring break!

Wednesday, Thursday, and Today
On Wednesday we had a Microtype only day in which you were to progress through your lessons on the program. Students should pretty much be done with all lessons up to the numeric keyboarding lessons. You should be just beginning on those. REMEMBER YOUR TECHNIQUE! I may be watching and you may not even know it!
On Thursday, we worked on an Excel assignment in which you are to practice using the different types of functions provided in Excel. I was observed by Mr. Crutcher and I want to thank all students who were sensitive to this fact and were very well behaved! To the others, you better get it together or else there will be a call home soon!! On Friday, we will complete the Excel assignment.
Next week, we will have a test on Tuesday covering Chapters 8, 26, and 28 in the book. We will have a review for the test on Monday.
Until then, enjoy your weekend. Also, GO Bears and Bearettes!!!!

Wednesday and Thursday Update
On Wednesday we typed vocab words from Lesson 28 in the textbook. Everyone placed these in their folders as required.
On Thursday we had a short period because of the early dismissal because of snow. We only worked on MicroType and posting our opening bells to our blogs. Our class was to be observed today by Mr. Allen, but that will be pushed back to next week.
Enjoy the break and the snow!!!!!

Wednesday Update
After we came back from the MLK holiday on Tuesday the 18th, students worked on their blogs and made sure that they were following Mr. Hamilton so that he has access to their pages for assignments, opening bells, etc.. If you have not done so yet, you need to get on it right away.
On Wednesday the 19th students will begin work learning the terms from Lesson 28 in Module 3 of the book. I know we have skipped a lot of lessons in the textbook, but I just wanted to mix things up! After the vocab words are complete, students will continue with MicroType.

On Friday we worked on Microsoft Excel and the "Judy's Allowance" assignment. The only students who did not turn this in due to absence were Gerald Rone and Heather Jackson.
Also on Friday, we created our own personal blog pages on blogger.com. Students will now be writing their opening bells and some of their other assignments in their blogs. Students need to make sure they are "following" my blog with their account so that I can have access to assignments and opening bells. You can "follow" my blog by signing in and then typing in my blog address in the address bar. When you have reached my blog, you simply click on the "follow" button. EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO THIS!!!
Have a great long weekend! Take some time this weekend to reflect on what Martin Luther King Jr. stood for and why he was so important. Adios!!!
